So it's Monday again (I know - ugh!) but the good news is... Spring is finally here to stay and God decided to wake us up this morning, right? That is definitely something to be thankful for!
I'm also thankful on any day when I do not have to go to a doctor or the dentist. I don't have any appointments today at all. I'm doing
the housewife happy dance!
There are not many things in life that will slow me down, and hardly anything that will keep me from writing. So today we begin a new week with a new blog and hopefully some useful information for everyone.
I was asked if I would still talk about Type 2 Diabetes. The answer is yes, but I do have other bits of information I will convey about other aspects of overall wellness also, such as weight loss, dyslexia, dealing with grief and chronic pain management.
Sometimes it is not what we hear in the doctor's office that moves us to action, but what we read from a friend who has walked the road and understands where you're at - and where you are coming from. One great thing about being 52 years old is that I do have some experience with a lot of different issues and it's my hope that I can help someone who may be in the midst of a struggle.
Well, hopefully I will not get locked out of this blog - not for another over 200 blog posts anyhow - lol!!! Hang in there with me if I do - but if all goes well, we can stay here for a very long time!
I had no idea that a simple thing like changing your email address in the google account would get their proverbial panties in such a wad! Whew! That'll teach me to change internet providers, won't it?
All of this hassle really raised both my blood pressure and blood sugar. I had to go ride my stationary bike for a little while after I fought with blogger for a while. Of course, blogger won - and so here I am - starting all over again. **sigh** - just please hang in there with me. My sincere apologies for the inconvenience - really!
So, while I don't typically encourage anyone to go back and get a second helping, in this case I will make an exception. Let's just hope we don't have to have a third helping!
We have had one silly bird who keeps flying into our living room window. The persistent thump as he hits the glass makes me wonder if he's going to break his beak, poor little robin! I don't know what the deal is with it - I guess that's where the phrase "bird brain" came from!
Whether you draw a picture or take a photo - the point is to do something that makes you happy and have a little fun!
